    To liaise with internal (divisions) and external (BNM, AIBIM, LTH, Khazanah, Media, Analysts, SC, Universities etc.) stakeholders

    Summary

    • Assist the AGM, Strategic Planning in developing and managing the Bank’s sustainability plan and programmes.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design and establish a framework to ensure outcomes in line with the ESG strategy, reporting to the firm's key committees in line with industry best practice
    • Develop and manage the Bank’s sustainability programme(s)
    • Conducts research and analysis used to develop corporate sustainability strategies to ensure that business practices, products, and services are environmentally friendly and compliant with government rules and regulations.
    • Monitor and track external ESG trends and developments, communicating and applying them internally
    • Assist to facilitate and execute Value-based Intermediary (VBI) initiatives (e.g. VBI scorecard)
    • Support to embed VBI/ Sustainability drive within the business planning process and KPI development
    • Facilitate VBI/ Sustainability-related information request
    • Establish good relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure at a minimum, meeting the expectations of the shareholders
    • Maintaining and updating databases required on ESG-related benchmark related to industry
    • Assist the Strategic Planning team deliverables aligned to overall Bank’s Strategic Direction

    Qualification

    • Possess at least a degree in Economics/ Accounting/ Finance– related/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Engineering/ Sustainability related qualification

    Years of Experience

    • Experience in credit, research, analytics, finance, risk, financial services industry related is an added advantage

    Specific Skills/ Knowledge and Certification Required

    • Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Computer Literate – Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good writing skills
    • Having an MBA/ PhD/ or a professional qualification is added advantage.
    • Willing to work in a tight deadline and result driven.
    • Sustainability/ Business planning/ Credit/ Risk/ Analyst experience in the financial services industry is an added advantage
