JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1. Strategic Marketing Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Beaconhouse's goals for all schools.

Tailor marketing approaches to different segments (e.g., preschools vs. senior schools) considering the local market demand, pricing strategies, and customer demographics.

2. Brand Positioning and Communication Strategy:

Define and refine Beaconhouse's brand positioning in the Malaysian market, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.

Develop a communication strategy that clearly conveys Beaconhouse's value proposition across all channels, including print, digital, and events.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials, from brochures to digital content, to strengthen brand recognition and loyalty.

3. Channel Evaluation and Optimization:

Assess the effectiveness of current marketing channels (e.g., digital, print, social media, events) and identify new opportunities. Optimize the media mix by reallocating resources to the most effective channels based on performance data and ROI analysis. Develop and manage relationships with media partners, agencies, and vendors.

4. Website Development and Content Creation:

Oversee the development, design, and continuous optimization of Beaconhouse's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, SEO-optimized, and aligns with the brand's messaging.

Lead content creation efforts to engage and inform prospective parents and students.

Ensure that the website content is regularly updated to reflect new programs, events, and announcements.

5. Promotional Videos:

Conceptualize, plan, and oversee the production of promotional videos that showcase Beaconhouse's strengths, values, and unique offerings.

Work with video production teams to ensure that videos are high-quality, on-brand, and effectively communicate the desired message. Distribute promotional videos across appropriate channels, including the website, social media, and during events.

6. Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to understand competitive positioning, customer preferences, and emerging trends within the Malaysian education sector. Use insights to refine marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.

7. Digital Marketing Leadership:

Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns. Develop content strategies that engage parents and stakeholders, driving traffic to the website and increasing conversion rates.

8. Campaign Development and Management:

Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns tailored to different product categories and pricing tiers. Use data-driven insights to adjust campaigns in real-time, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency.

9. Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently across different channels and campaigns.

Monitor expenditures and deliver regular financial reports to senior management.

10. Social Media and Online Reputation Management:

Oversee the management of Google and Facebook reviews, ensuring timely responses and addressing customer feedback.

Develop strategies to encourage positive reviews and effectively manage negative feedback. Directly manage all Social Media Executives, providing guidance and ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.

Monitor and analyze social media metrics to continuously improve engagement and brand perception.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or Advertising/Media or any related field.
  • At least 7 years working in the education sector with 3 years of managing the marketing team.
  • Versatile in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM system.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professional appearance, mature and flexible.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours.
