Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the machine tools business targets (Machine sales & maintenance service) by working out solutions to targeted customers, to secure new and/or retain existing customers.
  • Present to potential customer decision makers /BOD to secure the order.
  • Manage the manpower on service and installation to drive the business agenda.
  • Identify and develop target customers, mainly but not limited to CNC-Manufacturing, that may be linked to Mold & Die, Oil & Gas, Semiconductor, Automotive, and Aerospace segments.
  • Develop insights thru research and data qualification to form strategies to meet the business plan.
  • To utilize CRM knowledge and know how, to optimize sales activities and generating the order pipeline aligned to the business plan.
  • Feedback market intelligence in a scheduled manner cohesively across various functions to foster engagement.
  • Review current state and engage the team members for close gap actions to business plan and foster teamwork to drive results.
  • Coaching of team members on the sales approach to arrive at the uniformity of the sales process.
    Scheduled reporting as required.

Skills and competencies:

  • Possess in-depth understanding of machine tools, CNC manufacturing processes, and relevant industry segments.
  • Knowledge of machine maintenance services and installation processes to ensure smooth customer experience.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and the ability to communicate complex technical information to clients.
  • Ability to manage service and installation teams, ensuring timely delivery of machine tools and services.
  • Strong CRM knowledge to optimize sales processes, track progress, and manage pipelines.
  • Proven ability to establish strong networks, in various industry such as mold & die, aerospace, automotive, semicon, energy, medical, etc.
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching a sales team, fostering teamwork and collaboration to achieve goals.
    Ability to mentor team members on sales approaches, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness in the sales process.

Education & Experience:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Ability to converse in Mandarin will have an added advantage (to service Chinese speaking client).
  • At least 8-10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably managers specialized in Sales - Engineering/Technical or equivalent.
