Reports to: Finance Manager / Group Finance Manager / Chief Operating Officer

In Grand Orient Hotel Perai Penang, Senior Account & Administration Executive responsibilities are:
1. Prepare a full set of accounts – AR, AP, GL, Bank Reconciliation, etc.
2. Responsible for the month end closing within the stipulated deadline.
3. Maintain proper documentation and filing.
4. Prepare financial reports and other relevant financial reports accurately and timely.
5. Reconcile variety of accounting documents such as invoices, employee claims, cash receipts, customer statements and journal vouchers.
6. Liaise with hotel operations team, suppliers, and auditor.
7. Provide support in general administration & monthly payroll, claim & etc.
8. Manage day to day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables functions.
9. Reconcile daily collection of hotel room revenue.
10. Process general administration functions.
11. Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time.
12. Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the accounting system.
13. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.
14. Independent, proactive, result oriented and possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and highly organized.
