Key Responsibilities:

  • Bread & Pastry Production: - Craft a diverse range of traditional Danish breads and pastries, including but not limited to rye bread, Danish rolls, and kringles.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency across all products.
  • Recipe Innovation & Development: - Develop new recipes and refine existing ones to enhance product offerings, while preserving the authenticity of Danish baking traditions.
  • Quality Assurance: - Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the company’s standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Inventory & Ingredient Management: - Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring optimal freshness and availability of all necessary supplies.
  • Team Leadership & Training: - Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
  • Collaboration: - Work closely with the product development and management teams to introduce new and seasonal products, aligning with market trends and customer preferences.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: - Adhere to and enforce all hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: - Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Danish bread and pastry production.
  • Technical Expertise: - Mastery of traditional Danish baking techniques with a focus on artisanal craftsmanship.
  • Creativity: - Ability to innovate and adapt traditional recipes to meet contemporary tastes.
  • Leadership: - Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
  • Adaptability: - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to changing demands.

Terms of Employment:

  • Probation Period:

- 2 months probation period with 24 hours termination notice

- after confirmation, 1 month resignation notice or 1 month salary in lieu to terminate this contract

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: RM8,000 - RM12,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • EPF and SOCSO: Comprehensive coverage under the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Social Security Organization (SOCSO) as per Malaysian regulations.
  • Leave Entitlements: Medical leave, Public Holiday leave and competitive annual leave based on years of service, in compliance with Malaysian labor laws. (Only if the candidate has been confirmed after the 2 months probation period )
  • Contractual Terms: Position offered on a yearly contract basis, with potential for renewal based on performance.
  • Medical Coverage RM400: Coverage for both outpatient and inpatient medical expenses, with access to a panel of clinics. (Only if the candidate has been confirmed after the 2 months probation period

  • Travel Allowance: Petrol allowance for travel between Selangor and Ipoh.
  • Accommodation: Hostel accommodation provided in Ipoh for convenience during work assignments.
