Scope of Position

The jobholder is able to work and travel abroad which trips can be regular, continuous and sometimes lengthy in duration.

Performs modifications, repairs and retrofits to the Airbus fleet world-wide, in the airlines facility in compliance to the standards. Primary role will be to perform structural repair work, mechanical and systems tasks on the aircraft.


Also performs work on other tasks on the aircraft as instructed by the Working Party Manager or Supervisor. Escalates to the Working Party Manager or Supervisor in the event of non-compliance and/or abnormal findings.

    facility, on quality, on time and on cost, in accordance with EASA and Airbus requirements.

  • Background and skills

    • Minimum Education: SPM/O-Levels. Candidates with Certificate or Diploma or Degree holders from recognized Tertiary Education level is an added advantage.
    • Minimum Experience: 5 Years Working experience as Structures or System or Electrical Mechanic with good Part 145 understanding. Candidates with 10 years experience and fully trained in EASA Part 145 requirements are an added advantage.

    Other qualifications, training, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, legal or professional body authorization:

  • Good command in English communication both written and spoken.
  • Ability to access and work in confined spaces such as the tail and wing tank.
  • Able to work under pressure and tight turn-around time.
  • A totally flexible team approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrate AIRBUS values at all times.
  • To be ready for any assignment and participate in a pre-review meeting prior to the working party.
  • To actively participate with activities organized by the department whenever available at base.
  • To be responsible for dedicated assignments off and on base.
  • To perform any duties and function as required by Manager, Embodiment Resources within the frame of embodiment operations.
