We are looking for a Buyer preferably with experience in offshore Oil and Gas projects. Our client is a global provider of engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services within the energy sector.

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including issuing requests for quotations, evaluating vendor proposals, leading negotiations, and finalizing purchase orders or subcontracts. You will ensure compliance with cost, time, and quality requirements while adhering to company policies and standards, as well as managing contractual documentation and vendor communications.

Tasks:

• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to vendors based on the given purchasing requests.
• Support vendors during the preparation of technical/commercial proposals, maintaining confidentiality regarding bid information.
• Prepare commercial/economic bid tabulations to compare different proposals and suggest actions to improve bid results and/or select the vendor.
• Lead commercial/economic negotiations with vendors.
• Prepare the purchase order/subcontract based on standard General Purchase Terms and Conditions, as well as Project Special Purchase Conditions (if applicable), while managing any deviations.
• Close out the bid process by receiving purchase/subcontract confirmations from selected vendors and informing unsuccessful vendors of the negative results of their bids.
• Follow up and negotiate, if necessary, revisions to purchase orders/subcontracts.
• Perform assigned activities in compliance with procedures and provided systems and tools.
• Review and comment on technical documentation received with the Purchase Requisition and Technical Evaluation.
• Manage contractual documentation (archive) before issuing it to the centralized archive.
