Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline legal support processes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of company agreements, vendor contracts, subcontractor agreements and other related documents.
  • Manage compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and labour laws
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Manage case files, ensuring accurate and organized record-keeping
  • Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and depositions as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and disseminate relevant information to the legal team
  • Lead and coordinate special projects and initiatives within the legal department.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to support legal projects.
  • Manage the paralegal budget, including resource allocation and cost control.
  • Ensure the efficient use of legal technology and software tools.
  • Handle other administrative tasks as required.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
    • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • In-depth knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
