Key Responsibilities
- Developing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation and records.
- Managing and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to keep the project on track.
- Performing quality control checks and system validations to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical installations.
Key Tasks and Duties
In day-to-day operations:
- Assess project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors/clients and main/subcontractors.
- Direct and supervise the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.

Education and Certification Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering or project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- A valid professional engineering (PE) license is advantage
- Strong understanding of CAD software and other electrical design tools.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, and standards related to electrical engineering.
