Designer 设计师 (fashion retail)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Researching current trends and determining what consumers will like.
• Collaborating with the product development team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
• Designing and illustrating new products and collections.
• Liaise closely with the product development team for daily tasks.
• Product Strategist on fabrics, prints, colours, patterns and textures for each design.
• Style and plan for e-commerce photoshoots remotely with Singapore and China teams.
• Organise, renaming and filing all campaign and product images according to our e-commerce guidelines.
• The successful candidate will be trained to draw and design lingerie.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities which the company may assign from time to time.
• Provide ad-hoc remote support when urgently need, even out of ordinary working hour.

Job Requirements:

• Superior knowledge of fashion design principles.
• Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Possess at least a Diploma in Fashion Design or other related courses.
• Good proficiency in Design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Preferably bilingual with a good command of English and 华语 (to liaise with associates and supplier from China).
• Experienced, energetic and creative individual.
• Well-organised, meticulous, trustworthy, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
• A team player with strong initiative and creativity; with good management, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires working on more than one project simultaneously.
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period.
• Previous experience in the design and advertising industry and possesses knowledge of print production and processes would be a bonus.
