Elebest Engineering is the Sole Distributor of KONE Lifts and Escalators in Sarawak. We are an industry leader in installation and maintenance of lifts and escalators, and our clients include most of the major developers in Sarawak.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experience HR and Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions and financial operations within the company. This role requires a versatile professional with a strong background in both human resources and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance:
  • Handle full set of accounts and endure timely closure of management accounts.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and filing system.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, payroll processing, and tax filing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. To check and Submit SST returns.
  • To liaise with the Auditors, Bankers and Tax Agents pertaining to accounts and tax matters.
  • To maintain proper financial reports and filing system.
  • To handle other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management.
  • Human Resources:
  • Process payroll and statutory payments also responsible for liaison with all statutory department for related matters.
  • Handle end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Administer recruitment efforts by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing the hiring process.
  • Arrange NIOSH and CIDB training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Addressing employee grievances, mediating disputes, and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Handle staff disciplinary issue e.g. staff disciplinary action, termination and other employee related matters.
  • Responsible for overtime records and leave management to ensure accuracy of payroll data.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources / Finance / Acconting Business Administration / Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a combined HR and Finance role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Tools - e.g. Google Sheets and Google Drive
  • Spoken Languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Candidates with no prior working experience are welcomed to apply

Salary: Competitive salary and benefits packagewould be offered to the right candidates.

Working hours - Office: Monday - Friday 7:45am-5pm, Saturday 7:45am-12:45pm

Lunch Hours - Office: Monday - Friday 12pm-1:15pm

Company Size: 25-50 Employees

Dress Code: Office Attire

Benefits: Yearly bonus based on performance.
