Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive data collection systems to gather important market and campaign data.
- Ensure data systems are compliant with privacy laws and ethical standards.
Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse data from digital campaigns, website traffic, and other sources to assess performance and support marketing decisions.
- Develop regular reports for the digital marketing team on campaign performance, website analytics, and other key metrics.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to marketing stakeholders.
Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends in the education sector and analyse competitor strategies.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to identify potential markets and student segments.
Data-Driven Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with marketing team members to develop data-driven strategies for enhancing digital marketing efforts.
- Leverage statistical analysis and predictive modelling to forecast outcomes and optimize marketing tactics.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with other departments, including IT, Corporate Strategy, and Operations to ensure alignment of data-driven strategies across the organisation.
- Engage with external partners, like data vendors and technology providers, to enhance data capabilities.
Technical Leadership and Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and digital marketing tools.
- Propose and implement new data analytics tools and processes to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
Training & Development:
- Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and best practices.
- Encourage a culture of data-driven decision making within the marketing department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field (quantitative discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably within a marketing context.
- Experience in the education sector, particularly in international education marketing is an advantage.
- Proficient in data analytics software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Qlik, Tableau) and digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, MOZ Rank).
- Certification in Google Analytics or other Digital Marketing Analytics platforms is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights from large data sets.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and organized with a strong attention to detail.
