  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Container Platform Oversight
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for the deployment, configuration and management of the on-premises container platform.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices for container orchestration, scaling and resource management.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the DevOps team and development teams for seamless application integration into the container platform.
  • DevOps Tools Governance:
  • Oversee the management and support of a suite of DevOps tools, including Keycloak, Vault, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, Redis, 3scale, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kibana, SonarQube and Nexus.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security and integration of these tools with the container platform.
  • Facilitate the implementation of automation and monitoring solutions for the DevOps toolchain.
  • Platform Availability and SLA Management:
  • Establish and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) for the container platform and applications.
  • Implement strategies and processes to ensure high availability and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and report on platform uptime, performance and SLA adherence.
  • Coordinate and lead incident response and resolution efforts when issues arise.
  • Monitoring, Logging and Troubleshooting Governance:
  • Oversee the establishment of comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions for the platform and applications.
  • Ensure effective troubleshooting processes and documentation are in place and maintained.
  • Facilitate the analysis and resolution of performance issues, system bottlenecks, and other operational challenges.
  • Team Management and Mentoring:
  • Build, lead and mentor a highly skilled DevOps team responsible for the secure operation and support of the container platform and related tools.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, standards and guidelines for platform operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in DevOps processes and tooling.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team’s DevOps skills and knowledge.
  • Other duties as required by Management.
  • Security and Compliance Governance:
  • Establish and oversee the implementation of security best practices for the container platform and associated tools.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, regulator requirements and organizational policies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures and documentation.\

    • TECHNICAL SKILLS

    • Proven experience as a DevOps Manager or a similar role, with extensive experience in managing and leading DevOps teams and initiatives.
    • Solid understanding of container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
    • Extensive experience with security best practices, compliance requirements and security tools.
    • Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, and monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic stack)
    • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and hybrid cloud deployments.
    • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong leadership, communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
    • Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
    • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices is advantageous.
