Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
  • Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g: preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios).
  • Prepare beverages following recipes.
  • Serve beverages and prepared food.
  • Always maintain and keep the bar and cashier area clean.
  • Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
  • Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.
  • Take inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
  • Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit.

Requirements:

  • At least a diploma or professional certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
  • Strong ability to multi-task.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
