Key Job Responsibilities:

Assists the Manager and Assistant Manager to supervise and coordinate the clinical activities within the Department and wards.
Assists in teaching and providing technical support to the technical staff.
Engage with team members to ensure desirable outcome of patients progress by monitoring/guiding the team members at the work area.
Responsible for customer / patient satisfaction by initiating investigation and service recovery.
To initiate roll calls and cascade information to team members.
To manage and conduct annual competency test for therapists in work area.
To assist Manager in ensuring par level of Rehabilitative Supplies are being monitored and replenish as and when is necessary
Responsible for patients to be seen on a timely manner.
Identify and initiate relevant process and quality improvement projects at respective work area.
Managing staff coverage in the respective area by planning team members’ leave request for HOD approval.
To ensure compliance of staff in IPSG monitoring, documentation of fall risk and assessment/progression reports in respective area of charge.
To coordinate in house CME for department staff, Code Blue drills and interdepartmental trainings.
To be a role model to the team members at the workplace.
