Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the Manager and Assistant Manager to supervise and coordinate the clinical activities within the Department and wards.
- Assists in teaching and providing technical support to the technical staff.
- Engage with team members to ensure desirable outcome of patients progress by monitoring/guiding the team members at the work area.
- Responsible for customer / patient satisfaction by initiating investigation and service recovery.
- To initiate roll calls and cascade information to team members.
- To manage and conduct annual competency test for therapists in work area.
- To assist Manager in ensuring par level of Rehabilitative Supplies are being monitored and replenish as and when is necessary
- Responsible for patients to be seen on a timely manner.
- Identify and initiate relevant process and quality improvement projects at respective work area.
- Managing staff coverage in the respective area by planning team members’ leave request for HOD approval.
- To ensure compliance of staff in IPSG monitoring, documentation of fall risk and assessment/progression reports in respective area of charge.
- To coordinate in house CME for department staff, Code Blue drills and interdepartmental trainings.
- To be a role model to the team members at the workplace.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Degree or Master in Physiotherapy.
- Pleasant personality, self-motivated and a good team player.
- Possess sound knowledge in Physiotherapy clinical skills.
- Ability to train/coach others in clinical areas.
- Ability to trouble shoot technical problems and recommend solutions.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess good leadership quality.
