JOB TITLE: HEAD OF SALES

This position welcomes applications from Malaysian citizens and individuals with Malaysian citizenship.

As the Head of Sales, you will spearhead the formulation and execution of the sales strategy and oversee all related procedures and KPIs for key corporate clients, including banks, insurance companies, and conglomerates. This includes refining sales processes, facilitating training programs, conducting sales evaluations, reviewing pricing structures, and establishing reward and recognition initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with Business Leaders and sales teams to define a comprehensive sales strategy for Key Accounts, detailing objectives, goals, tactics, action plans, and performance metrics.
  • Sales Improvement Oversight: Lead all initiatives aimed at enhancing sales performance, including:
  1. Designing and implementing a robust Sales Planning Strategy (SPS) along with performance monitoring to ensure the Key Account Sales and Customer Success Teams achieve high execution standards.
  2. Developing sales tools and processes that support efficient selling efforts, including the centralization of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) across all divisions.
  3. Streamlining sales processes to improve transparency in the sales funnel and boost conversion rates.
  4. Facilitating regular sales team meetings to foster communication and eliminate barriers to success.
  • Target Achievement: Deliver on sales targets for major clients, focusing on revenue and profit margins.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales outcomes against set targets, identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the Head of Strategy, Partnership & Innovation to drive new go-to-market (GTM) strategies, sales acquisition programs, and marketing initiatives.

QUALIFICTION:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in sales, including at least 10 years in Sales Operations, Planning & Development, and a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Exposure: Prior experience with major corporate clients such as banks, insurance firms, and conglomerates is highly preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in optimizing sales processes, delivering projects, developing CRM systems, and effectively managing resources.
  • Performance Excellence: A history of achieving sales KPIs consistently.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate sales data into actionable insights.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a strong capability to work cross-functionally.
