Executive/Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and educate music users the need and importance to obtain a license for the use of copyrighted music;
• Actively seeking out new licensing opportunities through market survey, calling, networking and social media;
• Walk through applicants on the licensing requirements and application process;
• Inspect and investigate commercial premises/events for unlicensed use of copyrighted music;
• Advise, negotiate and conclude deals with music users based on the Company’s licensing tariffs or best possible commercial term;
• Manage administrative tasks including assessing application, invoicing, collating information, monitor payment to facilitate business operators’ and event organizers' compliance;
• Prepare status reports, manage correspondences, meet and exceed individual and group targets;
• Suggest, propose and liaise with in-house lawyers in respect of enforcement matters involving the Company;

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum requirement: Possesses a Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Administration, Mass Communication or equivalent
• 1-2 years of working experience in sales and marketing preferred; Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work independently
• Friendly, personable demeanor is an important trait, as the candidate will spend a lot of time meeting with people
• Good personal characteristics with honesty and integrity
• Great communication skills, proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, with proficiency in Mandarin as an advantage but not a requirement
• Candidate must possess own transportation
