WFH Early Childhood Education Lecturer - Chinese/Mandarin

Role Overview

The Early Childhood Education Consultant will work closely with mothers to deliver tailored advice and support on child-rearing practices based on proven educational and psychological methods. The consultant will also collaborate with our marketing team to share educational content on social media, making the role a public-facing one. This role includes individual consultations, group workshops, and recorded educational content that will be shared with a wider audience through various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one consultations with mothers, offering evidence-based advice on child development and effective parenting strategies.
• Design and lead workshops, seminars, and training sessions that focus on various aspects of child-rearing, early childhood development, and effective childcare.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to record, package, and publish educational materials such as guides, articles, videos, and podcasts for our social media channels.
• Be comfortable with appearing in video recordings and participating in live sessions for content to be published on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and others.
• Create and provide educational resources that assist mothers in their parenting journey.
• Stay updated on the latest research and trends in early childhood education and child psychology to ensure all recommendations are based on cutting-edge knowledge.
• Support mothers in understanding and addressing common childhood developmental challenges using scientifically proven methods.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and advice offered, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in early childhood education or parenting consultancy.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories and scientific parenting methods.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
• Comfortable being featured in recorded content and participating in media productions.
• Familiarity with modern scientific research in early childhood development and parenting techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with diverse family backgrounds and cultures.
• Previous experience in a consulting role with a focus on parenting and child care.
• Experience in conducting workshops and delivering educational programs for parents.
