Job Description:
- Produce BIM 3D models, Concrete Body Plan (CBP), Consolidated Services Drawing (CSD) and any related shop drawing in accordance to project requirements.
- Work with team members, coordinators and BIM Managers to complete BIM related tasks.
- Able to complete BIM models and related drawings in timely and quality manner.
- Update BIM Models based on drawings and latest information.
- Ensure all BIM models comply with industry standards, company guideline, and project -specific requirements.
- To oversee the execution of the project on the accuracy and standards and recommend improvements where needed.
- Coordinate with external parties to ensure progress models are updated
- Develop and deliver Clash Reports to ensure all external parties are aligned and updated to resolve clashes.
- Attend weekly BIM/coordination meetings.
- Assist in coordinating, design development, design review and value engineering.
- Ensure all pre-requisite documents are submitted and approved before the works proceed.
- Liaise with authorities / consultants to obtain timely approval.
- Check all construction drawings to ensure they are well coordinated. Identify insufficient information / discrepancies and issue Request for Information (RFI).
- Supervise sub-contractors to ensure the works are carried out as per drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Monitor sub-contractors work progress and ensure they keep up with their approved work schedule.
- Able to lead the sub-contractors to ensure smooth progress of works, high quality standards and minimal defects.
- Attend various project meetings, communicate the information and follow-up on actions required.
- Prepare, maintain and update progress reports (fortnightly, monthly, etc.).
- Coordinate with HQ to ensure that deliveries are expedited and well-coordinated.
- Assist to prepare correspondences on all project related matters.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architectural or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-5 years work experiences in industrial projects like high rise building, factory, manufacturing plant, data center, warehouse. hospitals etc.
- Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
- Understand construction drawings and terms.
- Proficient in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Passionate, willing to learn and hardworking.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in BIM/CAD for large industrial projects.
