Technician (SMT)

A. Primary job function 1.1 To perform various machine set-up upon requested by production. 1.2 To perform audit, trouble shoot and maintenance of all equipment. 1.3 To perform change of model as per planning schedule. 1.4 To optimize the program as to achieve well balance cycle time. 1.5 To attend to the machine immediately when break down and change model. 1.6 To monitor the machine performance during operation. 1.7 To reduce component drop-out. 1.8 To monitor closely on the pickup and mount efficiency. 1.9 To operate the machines as requested by superior. B. Duties and responsibilities 1.1 To carry out job as instructed by supervisor. 1.2 To assist other department when there is a need. 1.3 To liaise with supplier when there is a need. 1.4 To carry out all periodic maintenance as per schedule and update the checklist promptly. 1.5 To follow up on any out standing issue. 1.6 Inform superior when there is a major breakdown or beyond repair. 1.7 To ensure good house keeping and always aware of safety requirement. 1.8 To fabricate jig and fixture when there is a need to improve the processes. 1.9 Able to perform shift work when required. 1.10 To achieve SMT/AI/AOI objectives such as downtime, conversion time and quality C. Qualification and requirement 1.b Diploma holder in electronic or electrical engineering with at least 3 years experience in the same line 1.c Certificate in any engineering field
