BSFS currently serves 28 international airlines. BSFS is one of the main vendors to MAB the national carrier, while other clients include AirAsia, AirAsia X, Malindo, Etihad, Cathay Pacific and many more. Qualifications & experience
- Diploma in Culinary or equivalent experience in baking and pastry arts.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a baking environment
- Expertise in various baking techniques and methods.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Supervise the daily production of all baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, ensuring quality and consistency.
- To lead pastry in preparing and assembling all pastry products to be presented during the meal presentation and at once assist Executive Sous Chef in preparing of meals for Meals Presentation and menu development.
- Train, mentor, and supervise the baking team, promoting best practices and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ordering as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Ensure all baking operations comply with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
