Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the entire cycle of group operations, from online booking platforms to direct bookings and worldwide group handling, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational processes and policies that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction and ensure adherence to these standards across the team.
  • Utilize technology and innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve the overall client experience.
  • Manage and resolve any operational issues or client grievances that arise, doing so in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations and marketing, to ensure a unified approach to client service and to capitalize on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Analyze operational data and market trends to make informed decisions that drive operational improvements and business growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on group operations performance, including analysis of client feedback and recommendations for future enhancements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards pertinent to the operations within the region.
  • Manage resource allocation effectively, ensuring that staff, inventory, and financial resources are utilized optimally to meet client needs and operational goals

Requirements

  • Degree holder, major in hotel / tourism management, supply chain & logistics, and other related discipline
  • Expertise in operational strategy and efficiency is essential for streamlining processes, optimizing resources, and maintaining service excellence.
  • Leadership skills in particular can sustain a good morale for team motivation, staff development, and driving performance in a multicultural environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, with a proven track record in destination management operations.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, with responsibility for team leadership and operational oversight.
  • Essential proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Chinese (written and / or spoken) is preferable
  • Good track record of improving operational processes and implementing strategies that have increased efficiency, enhanced customer satisfaction, and driven revenue growth.
  • Prior experience working in a multicultural environment, ideally within the Asian market, showing an ability to adapt to different cultural business practices and client servicing approaches.
  • Experience with the latest industry-related IT systems and platforms for booking, CRM, and operational management.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the legal and regulatory frameworks governing travel and tourism operations in Asia and internationally.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight within an operations context, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Short-notice or immediate available candidate is highly preferred
