  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced developers who can deliver first-class web and mobile applications. You will be a part of an amazing team consisting of multi-culture working towards delivering creative “out of the box” solutions.

Developers will develop and maintain all web and mobile applications under APIIT Education Group. They will be highly involved in architecture development, automation and optimisation to achieve the highest level of satisfaction among users, focusing on the user-centric and student-centric approach to designing and developing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all transitions from development stage to product deployment.
  • Ensures the innovative technical solutions are designed, developed, and continuously improved in a user-centric manner using DevOps practices.
  • Improves user satisfaction amongst all groups including students and staff through the use of technology and innovation.
  • Coordinates projects and system development tasks that include the design phase, integration process and formal testing.
  • Delivers solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensures relevant documentation in accordance with standards and practices is being prepared and shared with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains our Angular/Ionic hybrid applications.
  • Builds innovative, exceptional and well-engineered mobile applications with intuitive, well-designed user interfaces.
  • Writes clean codes to develop functional web applications on top of keeping updated with new trends and best practices that can be reusable for future use.
  • Troubleshoots and debug applications to deliver a complete and zero-known bug features on time.

Skills and Competencies Requirements:

Education, Working Experience and Technical Skills

  • At minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent level of studies in other fields are welcome
  • 2-3 years of experience in software design, development, testing and deployment
  • Experience using code repository (e.g., Git, BitBucket, etc)
  • Certified with Cloud certifications is an added advantage
  • At least one year of experience in developing mobile applications using the Ionic or similar framework for Android and iOS
  • Experience in Web Development including :
    • HTML
    • CSS
    • JavaScript
    • Angular 12+
    • Capacitor
  • Experience in scripting and programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or JavaScript)
  • Experience in Flask or Django framework
  • Experience in developing RESTful services and APIs
  • Experience with databases both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience in the following areas or similar is an added advantage
    • Working with automation tooling (Ansible, etc)
    • Working with containers (Docker, Compose, ECS, Kubernetes)
    • Working with various CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc)
    • Deploying microservices architecture, applications, and supporting services
  • One year minimum working Experience in AWS cloud services.
