  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Your Role: Crafting the Future of Space Mapping

As a Draft Technician, you'll be an essential part of a highly skilled team producing precise residential and commercial iGUIDE floor plans using Planitar’s proprietary software. Your work will be integral to creating immersive 3D virtual tours, ensuring that every space is captured with accuracy and detail. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of Planitar’s offerings, helping clients visualize and understand properties like never before.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create iGUIDE floor plans using Planitar’s proprietary software, Draft, for residential, commercial, and insurance restoration clients.
  • Develop ESX floor plan sketches using Verisk’s construction estimating software, Xactimate, for insurance restoration claims clients.
  • Draft DWG floor plans using Autodesk’s Revit software for architecture, construction, and engineering clients.
  • Address and report any issues that arise during production to the iGUIDE Drafting Team Leader.
  • Participate in cross-functional and continuous improvement initiatives as opportunities arise.
  • Perform additional tasks outside of drafting, including AI annotations, marketing research, information gathering, and case studies.

Your Expertise: Shaping Success

  • A degree or diploma (or progress towards one) in architectural engineering, interior design, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience with BIM software like Revit.
  • Experience in 3D architectural technology and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Interior designing experience
  • Familiarity with residential or commercial construction/design practices.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • The ability to manage tight deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset that drives results.
