Key job duties:

1. Supply Chain Analysis and Optimization

· Analyze supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

· Recommend process improvements to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance service delivery.

· Conduct KPI metrics measurement, business benchmarking with the market and business trending analysis.

· Develop analytical reporting dashboard for the management.

2. Data Management and Reporting

· Gather and analyze data related to shipping, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

· Prepare detailed reports for management on logistics performance, KPIs, and operational costs.

· Use data to forecast demand and plan future logistics strategies.

5. Budgeting and Cost Control

· Develop logistics budgets and oversee expenditures.

· Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality or delivery timelines.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work closely with procurement, finance, sales, operations and customer service teams to align logistics operations with business needs.

· Provide input to senior leadership on logistics strategy and its impact on overall business performance.

7. Regulatory Compliance

· Ensure that all logistics activities comply with local, national, and international regulations (e.g., import/export laws, customs regulations).

· Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements that may affect supply chain operations.

8. Risk Management

· Identify risks in the logistics process (e.g., delays, disruptions, or cost overruns).

· Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

9. Technology and Systems Management

· Oversee the implementation and use of logistics technology (e.g., transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS)).

· Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI, IoT) and their potential application in logistics.

10. Leadership and Mentoring

· Supervise and mentor junior logistics analysts and other supply chain personnel.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the logistics team.

Requirements:
