Job Overview:

The Social Media Content Creator for the baby products industry is responsible for creating engaging and informative content that connects with new and expectant parents. This role involves developing creative concepts, producing high-quality visual and written content, and managing the brand's social media presence to build a community of loyal followers and enhance brand visibility in the market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop original content (images, videos, reels, stories, and blogs) that resonates with new parents, expectant parents, and caregivers, focusing on the features, benefits, and usage of baby products.
  • Brand Storytelling: Create compelling stories and narratives that highlight the brand’s mission, values, and product benefits, catering to the needs and concerns of parents and caregivers.
  • Social Media Strategy: Implement content strategies to grow brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive conversions across Instagram and Tik Tok.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a supportive online community, encouraging customer feedback, reviews, and testimonials.
  • Collaborations: Identify and collaborate with parenting influencers, bloggers, and online communities to expand the brand's reach.
  • Analytics and Insights: Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the success of content and campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Content Planning: Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with product launches, campaigns, holidays, and parenting events.
  • Visual Production: Coordinate photoshoots or video shoots that showcase the brand’s products in a natural, lifestyle context to appeal to parents.
  • Product Education: Create educational content such as how-to guides, product demonstrations, and safety tips to help parents make informed decisions.
  • Marketing support: Assist marketing team whenever necessary. (e.g.: Baby fair, workshop and any on-ground event)

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role, preferably within the baby products or parenting industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices specific to parenting communities.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut).
  • Excellent written communication skills with a warm and engaging tone suitable for the target audience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools like Meta.
  • Familiarity with parenting blogs, forums, and online communities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with parenting influencers or creating partnerships.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization for social media.
  • Background in photography, videography, or content production.
  • Passion for parenting topics and understanding of the challenges faced by new parents.
