Job Description

  • Prepare and analyze business requirements for Operations, New Business (NB), PAD and Claims.
  • Identify system gaps and enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare system manuals/guides for new system features to ensure clarity and usability.
  • Conduct impact analysis based on the Business Specification Document (BSD) standards, assessing risks and benefits, and proposing resolutions.
  • Develop and execute test plans and test scripts to validate system functionalities and performance.
  • Setup and review Plan Wizard and Master Table configurations to align with business needs.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and verify test results to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Document test results and provide comprehensive screenshots for clarity.
  • Raise defects with detailed testing steps and participate in defect triage meetings.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage operations testing progress and report to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Organize and lead product/project meetings for Operations, ensuring timeline adherence and alignment with stakeholders.

Job requirements:

  • Possess knowledge in raising business requirements, identifying testing scope, and drafting testing scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of system behaviour, workflows, and relevant backend systems (e.g. penta) as well as proficiency in using the JIRA system for project tracking.
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English.
  • A minimum of 8 years of working experience in Life Insurance and/or Takaful, specifically in project management and operational processing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude and excel under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills and a forward-looking approach to strive for excellence.
