NURSE ASSISTANT

To assist Staff Nurses in the smooth running of the dialysis unit. Priming of dialysers and lines according to the schedule. Assist with recording of patients’ information as per clinical chart. Assist with observation taking such as vital sign of patients like blood pressure, pulse rate and etc. Assist with discontinuing of patients after completion of dialysis eg. to clean the machines, chair and patients trolleys, wash kidneys dish and cleaning tower. Flushing the used dialysers, disinfect with reprocessor machines and then keep in their respective boxes. Check and issue the stock issuing form according to the daily operation needs like A+B solution and disposable items. Packing dressing drapes for sterilization. Maintain good housekeeping at all times. To do housekeeping when necessary. Ensure decalcification and chemical disinfections for all dialysis machines are carried out daily and records are kept if required. Job Requirements: Minimum SPM qualification Must be able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English. No work experience required. No night shift.
