Job Overview

Assist the Project Manager in analyzing the Pavement Condition Assessment (PCA) data for input in dTIMS software, to provide insights and recommendations based on life cycle cost analyses with optimum cost outcome budget and network performance. Responsible for providing annual pavement performance analysis using dTIMS software to develop a Long-Term Rolling Programme (LTRP) with a maintenance strategy to achieve required performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of road pavement conditions and deliver comprehensive project assignments to support the development of long-term pavement maintenance strategies.
  • Provide expert insights and recommendations to the maintenance management team on the efficient execution of pavement work programs and the implementation of long-term maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and apply pavement deterioration models using dTIMS or similar tools to assess asset performance under varying traffic loads and budget constraints.
  • Calculate whole-of-life maintenance costs and road user costs for road assets, enabling informed long-term financial planning and fund allocation strategies.
  • Optimize pavement maintenance strategies to ensure maximum benefit-cost outcomes while maintaining road quality and safety standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pavement assessment technologies and asset modeling, applying relevant innovations to address existing and emerging infrastructure challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the highway/road management sector.
  • Knowledge in pavement analysis and design.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
