Job Purpose:

To assist in coordinating and executing activities related to financing, refinancing, and restructuring, ensuring effective financial management and optimal support for funding and corporate finance matters within the Company Group. This role also supports the coordination of corporate exercises, such as acquisitions and divestments, to ensure timely and efficient completion.

Main Accountabilities:

Funding Analysis and Recommendations:

  • Conduct analysis and evaluate funding requirements, providing preliminary recommendations aligned with the approved budget, Group financing policy, and long-term corporate goals.

Coordination with Parties:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, banks, and advisors to gather necessary information and documents for the establishment of new facilities, including financing, refinancing, and restructuring applications.

Monitoring and Compliance:

  • Assist in monitoring the fulfillment of conditions precedent (CP) for financing agreements and corporate exercises to ensure timely completion.

Liaison and Communication:

  • Coordinate with relevant parties to address queries from banks, advisors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Loan Covenant Management:

  • Summarize and monitor loan covenants for the company to ensure compliance with covenant requirements.

Credit Rating Coordination:

  • Compile and consolidate information for Credit Rating Agencies, prepare supporting documentation, and monitor rating methodologies and actions, providing impact analysis and recommendations to management.

Documentation Preparation:

  • Assist in drafting board papers, letters, and presentations related to financing, refinancing, restructuring, and other corporate exercises.

Facility Renewals:

  • Coordinate with banks for the renewal of existing facilities and liaise internally to gather necessary information for the renewal process.

Review and Input:

  • Review financing terms and agreements, providing comments and input where relevant.

Shareholders' Advances and RPS:

  • Prepare board papers related to the conversion of shareholders' advances into Redeemable Preference Shares (RPS) or redemption of existing RPS, ensuring completion before year-end.

Special Projects:

  • Assist with special tasks or projects related to corporate finance as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional membership (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, CIMA) preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in corporate finance, feasibility, or related fields (e.g., investment banking, business development with external financing exposure).
