Mold Designer Engineer

-Plan and request the related training to meet quality objectives. -Plan and conduct on-the-job training from time to time as when necessary. -On-the-job training shall conduct with commensurate to the level of education the employee. -Managing the tooling fabrication / modification / repairing processes and related outputs compliance to its SOP. -Managing the achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI). -Correcting, preventing or reducing undesired effects in order to improve the performance and effectiveness of the process. -To involve in stock-count and audit to ensure inventory data are recorded accurately. -Liaise with Project Engineers for new tooling design layout, DFM review rectification, and modification. -Perform mold design and DFM design -Provide technical assistance and support in resolving tooling issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis. -Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for molds to ensure efficiency and smooth running of the molding operation. -Manage tooling 3D file and mold maintenance document. -Set up and update tooling management documents. -Tooling modification design and simple jig design. -Provide tooling cost estimates in support of assigned RFQ's. -Submit mold management monthly report on time. -To maintain proper filling for all respective document. -Ensure the checklist/forms in use are compliance to EMS/QMS. -Perform other tasks / duties as assigned or required.
