Credit Manager / Senior Credit Risk Manager - Corporate

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide credit decision/approval of credit propositions, credit review, temporary excesses and transaction exceptions within authorized lending authority limit.
• Engage with business units on potential opportunities including joint calls and site visits where necessary and providing guidance and advice on structuring facilities.
• Work closely with business units to timely identify early warning signs and initiate appropriate remedial actions for deteriorating credits.
• Work with BU to define, review and enhance Target Market and Risk Acceptance Criteria.
• Perform targeted portfolio reviews in response to events/developments that may have an adverse impact on overall credit quality and to formulate action plans to minimize / manage risks identified.
• Undertake adhoc tasks/ projects as may be required from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum (6-8 years for Credit Manager/AVP position)/(10-12 years for Senior Credit Manager/VP position) of experience in credit assessment /approval in credit risk or front line covering corporate / commercial credits
• Able to work under pressure with tight turnaround time.
• Agile in undertaking other credit-related matters apart from the typical credit assessment/approval tasks.
• Possess strong analytical, writing and interpersonal skills.
