This role is crucial for managing detailed aspects of procurement, including vendor analysis, cost negotiations, and purchase operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and experience in managing procurement processes in a dynamic environment.

  • Vendor Management:

Conduct detailed assessments of vendors to ensure their reliability and alignment with our quality requirements. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of high-quality goods.

  • Procurement Strategy:

Assist in the development and execution of procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery metrics. Collaborate with the Manager to refine purchasing policies and procedures.

  • Purchase Operations:

Oversee and execute daily purchasing operations, including order placement, tracking deliveries, and managing supplier performance. Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and documentation to avoid disruptions in the supply chain.

  • Cost Efficiency:

Monitor market trends to anticipate price changes and availability of goods. Engage in negotiations to secure the best possible terms of purchase, focusing on achieving budgetary targets without compromising quality or delivery times.

  • Inventory Management:

Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure effective inventory levels that support operational and sales goals. Participate in inventory audits and implement improvements to minimize costs associated with excess inventory or shortages.

  • Compliance and Standards:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with national and international procurement laws, as well as industry-specific regulations concerning Halal standards. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all purchased products meet the required specifications and standards.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, spending patterns, and cost analyses to support strategic decision-making. Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement transactions for accountability and future reference.

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Liaise with the finance, operations, and culinary teams to ensure alignment between procurement plans and departmental needs. Provide procurement insights and support during budgeting and financial planning processes.
