Job Description

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the business goals of a fast-paced retail giant, focusing on people development, talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
  • Talent Management: Lead workforce planning and talent development initiatives, ensuring the attraction, development, and retention of top talent across all levels of the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment, handling complex employee relations issues and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Organizational Development: Implement organizational change initiatives, working closely with leadership to manage transitions, improve business processes, and support company growth.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management cycle, ensuring clear communication of objectives, continuous feedback, and robust development plans for employees.
  • Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations, reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Culture and Engagement: Act as a culture champion, driving engagement programs and initiatives that support a strong, positive workplace environment.
  • HR Operations: Lead HR operations, including payroll, compensation, and benefits management, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company policies.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR management, with a strong background in retail or large commercial environments.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and working within a fast-paced, high-volume organization.
  • Expertise in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance in a retail setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership to drive HR initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.
