We are recruiting an Associate Internal Auditor to join our global Internal Audit Department. The Associate Auditor role is expected to perform a full range of audits and investigations, including financial, SOX compliance and operational audits of Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

This dynamic position requires working with personnel across all functions of Kimberly-Clark and at all levels of responsibility. As an Associate Internal Auditor, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping our stakeholders solve their complex financial control issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Executes audit activities and project roles under direction of lead auditors.
  • Exercises initiative and judgment in executing audit procedures
  • Contributes to risk assessments with supervision / guidance
  • Demonstrates basic project management skills regarding engagement notification, task assignments and monitoring, interim performance evaluation, and time management
  • Recognizes issues, problems or opportunities and determines whether action is needed
  • Provides clear, sufficient and well-written evidence to support work, issues and recommendations

Focus on Consumers

  • Cultivates positive relationships with stakeholders and proactively builds effective working relationships with employees

Move Fast

  • Identifies and recommends improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes such as test approaches and tools to use during the course of testing

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 1-2 years of public accounting and/or private industry audit experience with knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently. Demonstrates initiative, innovation and drive for results. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Detail oriented and demonstrates understanding and application of various techniques to identify the root cause of a problem
  • Handles difficult situations with diplomacy and tact and uses indirect influence to build consensus and support
  • Dedication to team work and leadership
  • Integrity within professional environment
  • Communicates professionally in all forms, with the ability to effectively present to peers and management
  • Ability to travel ~10%, both domestic and international
  • Fluent in English language
  • Fluent in Korean language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) framework
  • Working knowledge of SAP, AuditBoard, and Microsoft Power BI
  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA or equivalent) or working towards certification
  • Prior manufacturing and/or consumer products industry experience
