JD:

1 Assist in overseeing daily operation of Accounts Department.

2 Responsible for accounts payables, banking matters and all payments for all companies

3 Capture creditor’s invoices into the accounting system on timely manner and ensure all invoices are properly supported.

4 Prepare monthly creditor’s reconciliations.

5 Ensure payments are only made for the approved invoices and are properly supported.

6 Monitor creditor’s aging report and highlight related issues to superiors.

7 Review debtor’s ageing report and reconciliation prepared by the executives and follow up on long outstanding & unreconciled items.

8 Issue debit note for intercompany transactions record transaction and perform intercompany reconciliation on monthly basis.

9 Manage month end closing activities i.e check and ensure all accounting entries are complete and correctly recorded in the systems.

10 Prepare Monthly Financial Progress (MFP) for the assigned companies for manager review.

11 Organize and maintain proper filing of unpaid invoices and payment vouchers.

12 Assist in the compilation of documents for banking and financing purposes

13 Handling taxation matters i.e preparing tax estimates (CP204) and other tax-related matters

14 Assist in year-end annual audit and other accounting tasks required by superior

15 Work on any ad-hoc requests as assigned by superior and management
