Transport Execution Coordinator (6 months contract)- Your future position?
Overall mission:
- Ensure correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in logistics execution according to the requirements specified in the role description.
- Take directions from the Road Hub Manager and others in the team on specific tasks.
- Coordinate critical assigned operational activities in close contact with the local site in the specific region.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as a First Escalation point for transport issues.
- Manage critical Road daily transportation exceptions, coordinate express shipments requests with internal/external stakeholders
- Manage Inbound/Outbound deliveries updates through system (SAP +Track & Trace system) and act accordingly with internal/external stakeholders
- Review/ participate in LSP performance reviews
- Review/validate road freight invoices & manage carrier request for additional charges beyond the scope of their contracted pricing
- Apply and ensure Givaudan validated processes are in place together with sites and road service providers and, share any local best practice and escalate where needed
- Monitor and take action to ensure up to date E2E Transportation Data Flow
- Create volume forecasts of road shipments and communicate to carriers
- Manage critical site specific Logistics Complaints and returns
- Ensure any specific required follow up on road transportation
- Adherence to service levels Adherence to policies and procedures
- Builds constructive and effective relationships with cross functional teams
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone, email
Education/ primary qualification:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
- Good English communication skills. Knowledge of Mandarin language is preferred.
- Possess ideally 1-2 years of experience in relevant field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience is also welcome to apply.
- SAP knowledge is a must.
- Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace/Google Suite.
- Possess skills like driven, detail oriented, growth mindset and detail oriented.
