• Maintain and support the hotel’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
• Ensure the stability and smooth operation of critical hotel systems, such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
2) Guest Technology Support:
• Manage and ensure high-quality guest IT services, including Wi-Fi, in-room entertainment systems, and business center facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve guest technology issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
3) Technical Support for Hotel Operations:
• Provide technical support to all hotel departments, addressing hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of employee devices, printers, and other hotel-related technology.
4) Data Security & Backup:
• Ensure that the hotel’s data is protected with appropriate security measures, including firewalls, antivirus systems, and backups.
• Implement disaster recovery strategies to safeguard against data loss and system failures.
5) Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and oversee IT-related projects such as system upgrades, new technology implementations, and hardware installations.
• Coordinate with management and external vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
6) Software & Systems Maintenance:
• Perform regular updates and maintenance on all hotel software systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor system logs and take corrective actions to prevent issues before they impact hotel operations.
7) Vendor Management:
• Liaise with external vendors for procurement and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the hotel receives the best value for its IT investments.
8) Training & Development:
• Train hotel staff on the use of IT systems and applications, ensuring they can use the tools effectively.
• Provide ongoing support and refresher courses as needed to optimize technology use.
9) Compliance & Regulatory Standards:
• Ensure that the hotel’s IT infrastructure complies with local and international data protection and privacy regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols.
