Description


Primary Objective:

  • To support Unit Head of Motor principally focused on technical underwriting of Motor to ensure profitability of Motor Insurance.
  • To provide technical advice and underwriting suppport internal customers.
  • To ensure operational standards and performance to be in line with the regulatory requirement.
  • To provide assistance on ad-hoc projects and issues which require a special attention.

    • Key Responsibilities:

    • To ensure that a consistent growth persistency of new and renewal motor class business of the company in tandem with the company’s budget for the year.
    • Regular and continuous monitoring of performance productivity and profitability, loss ratios and review rate, terms and conditions during renewal scrutiny. Supervise renewal notices are timely scrutinized and completed within the designated timeline.
    • To assist Unit Head in preparing reports and analysis of business portfolio.
    • To arrange fac-ri placement for risks exceeding Company net and treaty capacity.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of staff.
    • To ensure that the working environment is in safe conditions
    • Undertake other other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time

    Requirements

    Requirements:
    Bachelor Degree - Any related field(s).

    Preferably with minimum of 1 year experience in Motor Underwriting in general insurance industry.

    Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

    Good in Microsoft Office – e.g. Words & Excel
