Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible in monitor, govern, develop and evaluate overall corporate strategy, analysis, and planning emphasis on bottom line financial and operating performance management to maximise value for community, investors and shareholders.
- Governing assets and operations of the Group’s companies’ portfolio.
- Leading an organizational transition as a leader, a change agent, and an active motivator in partnership with the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
- Restructure the finance and accounting teams across the Group.
- Develop, lead, and direct the accounting and finance departments.
- Provide useful financial insights to make the best decisions about executing our business strategy.
- Manage the company's financial operations, including working capital, capital expenditures, debt levels, taxes, budgets, and general accounting.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, planning, and analysis processes.
- Identify, develop, and implement financial plans to meet the company's strategic goals, growth opportunities, and market direction.
- Develop and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures while ensuring cash resources are available for daily operations.
- Ensure all financial, operational controls and metrics are implemented and monitored within the organization.
- Responsible for the financial reports and results announcement in compliance with MFRS, IFRS, the Companies Act 2016, listing requirements of Bursa Malaysia, and other regulatory requirements.
- Create a financial effectiveness and analyse current and future business operations.
- Foster positive and impactful relationships with investors, shareholders, and outside lending/equity organizations with the Group CEO.
- Maximize investment returns by developing and executing plans.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or any qualification align with a professional qualification MIA.
- Exhibits strong teamwork skills, with 10-15 years of finance experience, ideally within publicly listed company.
- Demonstrates a 'player-coach' mindset, capable of both executing tasks and mentoring emerging finance professionals.
- Possesses a curious and collaborative approach, prioritizing understanding to effectively collaborate with colleagues and optimize outcomes.
- Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving, adept at transforming data into practical strategies.
