Key Responsibilities 1. Responsible for work allocation and work schedule in the workshop according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary and to ensure that works are completed in a timely manner for the day to day operation. 2. Responsible to respond to customers’ requests for update on the status of works and to frequently communicate with the Service Manager on arising matters. 3. Responsible to perform high skilled mechanic duties including trouble-shooting, diagnosing and repairing works. Also responsible to address customers’ complaints and resolving technical problems. 4. Responsible to manage, mentor and train the Technicians on the appropriate technical skills and inspecting works to ensure all matters relating to quality services and standards have been met. 5. Responsible to identify Technicians that requires training and implements training opportunities to further improve on their work skills. 6. Responsible to ensure that the Technicians are performing to the expected level through monitoring and appraising of job results. To also provide coaching and counseling including disciplining for the under-performing Technicians. 7. Responsible to resolve conflicts and miscommunications that may happen at the workshop quickly and amicably. 8. Responsible to oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at the workshop at all times including the safe use of tools, machinery and equipment. 9. To carry out any duties and job functions in which you may be instructed from time to time by the Company or person acting on behalf of the Company. 10. To maintain good house-keeping of the work place and up-keep of the workshop hand-tools & special tools.
