Driving Duties: Vehicle Operation: Safely drive company vehicles to transport goods, personnel, or other materials as required. Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance checks (e.g., oil changes, tire pressure). Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, including mileage and fuel consumption. Transportation Coordination: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and pick-up. Handle any logistical issues that arise during transport and report them as necessary. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are securely transported. Vehicle Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department. Purchasing Duties: Procurement: Identify and source suppliers for required goods and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to secure favorable deals. Create and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to anticipate and manage procurement needs. Track and record all purchases and maintain accurate records. Prepare and maintain reports on purchasing activities and inventory levels. Budget Management: Ensure that purchasing activities align with the company’s budgetary constraints. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure reports related to procurement. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain proper documentation for all procurement transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Verify and process invoices related to purchased goods and services. Administrative Duties: Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transportation and procurement activities. Prepare and submit reports on vehicle usage, purchasing activities, and inventory status. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and address them effectively. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operation Ad Hoc & Vehicles management: a. Daily reporting for vehicles on fuel logs, and service maintenance. b. DO NOT drive over the speed limit. c. To report if you are getting summons from the police, JPJ, or any. Any summons cost incurred of any company vehicle will be borne by the assigned driver. d.
