Ensure First Aid equipment is maintained and within applicable usable dates.
Regular training courses are available to staff and practices are in place.
Ensure that equipment, responses, and procedures for Emergency Care is a priority. This includes examination of patients, administering care, response route and travelling with the patient to the nearest hospital; as well as communication procedures with the parents/guardians and school management.
Be responsible for clinic maintenance, cover, supplies and overall cleanliness.
Educate the community on overall Health Programmes that may affect learners’ attendance, for example; head lice, safe mosquito practices, CPR training, etc.
Attend to individual learners’ medical needs, from medicine administration to awareness of any allergy or condition they may have. Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians, school management and teachers on medical care plans.
Regular communication with staff on health and wellness of the school community, updating of required records and reports as per school guidelines, and help refine school policies and procedures.

The lower secondary refers to Key Stage 3:
Year 7 to Year 9 (age 11 to 15).
The upper secondary refers to Key Stage 4:
Year 10 to Year 11 (age 14 to 17).
IGCSE examination preparations are carried out during Cambridge Upper Secondary.
Pre-University programs are also available at SISM (Year 12 – 13). We will be offering the International Baccalaureate Programme and the Cambridge International A levels upon approval as mentioned earlier.
