About the company

This is a Senior CSA Engineer position to be based in Shah Alam.

Your future employer is a Japanese Contractor with more than 10+ years in the Construction industry mainly involved in Industrial and Commercial projects. They are looking for a CSA Senior Engineer to join their expanding team.

Job Description:-

  • To support the Project Manager to coordinate the execution of engineering work and manage the whole engineering team of one execution office on a specific project.
  • To prepare for the project technical detail, strictly according to the local regulatory requirement.
  • To prepare engineering designs and drawings and calculation/technical reports on specific project.
  • To prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, budgets and bills of quantities.
  • To carry out calculation of quantity based on construction drawings.
  • To review for discrepancy between architectural and structural drawings.
  • To overall coordination of the various trades in relation to all the works.
  • To liaise with subcontractors/suppliers, consultant and customer.
  • To enhance safety awareness throughout construction period.
  • To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or related field.
  • 5 - 8 years experience in design duties via AutoCad or Revit or equivalent.
  • Strength in architecture and/or civil engineering in factories and industrial buildings
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as Malaysian Standard (MS) is preferred.
