Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of account
- Hand on experience in handling AP & AR
- Ensure accounting records and system are in compliance with company’s policies and in accordance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Supervised accounting staff as required. Provides guidance, advice and support to direct reports to ensure issues are resolved and addressed appropriately in a timely fashion
- Prepare inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation and monthly schedule Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned
Job Competencies:
Book keeping and accounting skills - Compulsory
- Able to analyze, understand and interpret basic financial data
- Detailed and organized
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with people
Key Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Accountancy
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in supervisor level
- Experience in retailer industry is an added advantage
- Detailed with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive
- Multi-tasking is expected
- Able to work independently under minimal supervision and able to work under pressure and meet deadline
- Working location: Big Pharmacy HQ - Shah Alam and new HQ will be relocated to Bandar Bukit Raja 2.
