DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To undertake business development activities for all the products under the Kawan Group of Companies such as development of new distribution channels, manage new & existing distributors, grow market share, etc.
  • Responsible to assist on formulate plans on how best to develop our sales & market shares for our various brands.
  • To maintain close links and develops rapport with key account customers and manage them in order to garner maximum sales growth/advantage at lowest possible costs.
  • To work closely with appointed distributor and their sales team so as to attain sales targets in line with the strategies set by the Company.
  • To support Area Manager on planning and execute promotional and marketing activities.
  • On a monthly basis closely follow up on the sales of our distributors against target and report on the main reason for any shortcomings along with proposal on how to rectify the shortcomings versus sales target in the fastest possible period of time.
  • Required to provide monthly reports in the following respect to Area Manager:
  • Activities during the month
  • Planned activities for the following month
  • Brief report in respect of sales versus target on a distributor, by distributor basis, approximate market shares, retail selling price details.
  • To carry out other duties and tasks as directed by the Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience (within the same capacity) in FMCG industry.
  • Good interpersonal sales and communication skills.
  • Good in leadership, training, coaching and motivation skills.
  • Well understanding of market trends.
  • Capable of working under high-pressure situations and under time constraints.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Words, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Possess own transport and able to travel extensively.
