  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Analysis: Oversee the performance of public-listed companies (PLCs) on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad by critically reviewing and analysing annual reports, corporate governance reports, sustainability reports, and shareholder circulars related to corporate proposals.

Engagement, Voting & Meeting Participation: Draft and issue timely inquiries to monitor PLCs before their general meetings. Prepare voting decisions per MSWG’s guidelines and actively participate in these meetings to address concerns, assess the conduct, and compile detailed reports.

Corporate & Regulatory Developments: Monitor corporate developments, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors impacting PLCs. Stay informed on changes in rules, regulations, guidelines, and relevant laws governing the domestic capital market to ensure compliance and strategic insight.

Content Contribution: Contribute to the publication of MSWG's weekly newsletter, “The Observer” by providing analysis, commentary, drafting of articles, and insights.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Participate in forums, provide feedback on consultation papers from regulatory authorities, and contribute to research papers by relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

Possess at least Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification

Have good understanding of Malaysia’s capital market

Have at least 5 years of relevant working experience

Able to travel occasionally
