Responsibilities:

A professional who is responsible for providing guidance and support to clients in the requirement, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.

  • Able to work with clients to understand their business requirements and identify software solutions that will meet their needs.
  • Based on the requirements gathered, application consultants design and configure the software application to meet the client's needs. This includes setting up workflows, data structures, and user interfaces.
  • Able to work with clients to implement the software application. This includes configuring the system, migrating data, and setting up user accounts.
  • Able to test the software application to ensure that it is working as expected and that all the requirements are met.
  • Communicate with client's IT team on issues and enhancements.
  • Application consultants provide ongoing customer support to clients. This includes responding to user questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Provide L1 & L2 end-user support and responsible for ensuring that the software application is running smoothly. This includes monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates and patches.

Requirements

  • Education: A diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required for an application consultant role.
  • Technical skills: Need to have basic SQL knowledge and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Industry knowledge: Need to have knowledge of the IT software industry, experienced in healthcare domain is (HL7/FHIR, DICOM) will be an added advantage.
  • Soft skills: Need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, and the ability to work well with clients &team members and having strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certification is a plus.
