We are looking for an experienced and driven Test Development Manager to lead our Test Development team. In this pivotal role, you will mentor engineers, promote cutting-edge test solutions to both current and prospective customers, and drive the success of test projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Project Management:

  • Lead and oversee the Test Development team in designing and implementing test solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Drive projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring high-quality results and meeting customer expectations.

Mentorship & Skill Development:

  • Act as a mentor to Test Development Engineers, providing guidance and technical support during project phases.
  • Facilitate learning opportunities and encourage the professional growth of the team.

Customer Engagement & Test Technology Promotion:

  • Promote advanced test technologies to both existing and potential customers, showcasing our capabilities and innovation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored test solutions.

Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving:

  • Provide expertise on various tester platforms, including Advantest 93K, Teradyne ETS800, ETS364, ETS88, and Chroma.
  • Utilize knowledge of handlers and probers to enhance testing solutions and capabilities.
  • Ensure that the team stays at the forefront of test development technologies and methodologies.

Candidate Criteria:

(A) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BEng) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.

(B) Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test development, with a proven track record of delivering test solutions.
  • Prior experience as a Senior Test Development Engineer, with readiness to transition into a managerial role.
  • Extensive experience with tester platforms such as Advantest 93K, Teradyne ETS800, ETS364, ETS88, and Chroma.
  • Experience working with handlers and probers is a plus.

(C) Special Skills:

  • Strong technical background, including proficiency in programming, electronics, and schematic design.
  • Ability to effectively manage a technical team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop robust solutions.

(D) Additional Attributes:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
