  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client “⁠GLOBAL KIARA SDN BHD" is seeking a Head of IT to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

  • Develop and implement IT policies, strategies, plans, SOPs and processes that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Project management includes the planning, implementation, testing, and support of the company’s enterprise system.
  • Project management includes the planning, implementation, testing, and support systems integration across the organization.
  • Manage IT infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, and networks. Establish the infrastructure that can support cloud-based systems and the uptime.
  • Oversee the IT team and ensure that the company’s resources and staff have the necessary training (systems and applications) to be successful.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT systems and data. Implement data security and backup databases.
  • Organize & preparation for systems testing, evaluation of results, ensuring standards are well maintained.
  • Manage change requests with system vendors.
  • Manage and troubleshoot problems, implementing a ticketing system for problem management as needed.
  • Ensuring system and data backups to guarantee continuous availability of software on the computer network.
  • Support the implementation of future business intelligence systems, enterprise system updates and patches.
  • Manage IT budgets and resources.
  • Track and analyze IT performance metrics.
  • Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT is meeting their needs.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, user guides and training materials

Who are they looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior IT management role Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security (local and cloud)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies and plans
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects and tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
